Introduction

Butere-Mumias District Comprise of five divisions namely Butere, Mumias, Khwisero, Matungu and South Wanga Division. This report covers the Westeern Region of Kenya which can be replicated in the other regions in the country with the availability of funds and personnel. This programme is an initiative through the Kenya Economic Youth Network [KEYNET] to address the concern of substance abuse and alcohol with the related violence and the HIV/AIDS prevalences.
